Zoloft
Hey guys,
I was just diagnosed eith ocd and severe anxiety. I have most of the usual ocd symptoms. I also have obsessive thoughts and worry over non risk exposures to stds.
Doctor prescribed me Zoloft (well the generic) and I started taking it yesterday. 50 mgs for the first week then if all is well 100 mgs.
Today my pupils have been huge all day. Was also a little jittery and felt weird.
Anyone else on Zoloft? What about the pupils? This is my first time taking an SSRI.

I take the pill around 9 am each morning. Historically my obsessive thoughts and worry are the worst when I wake up. I have health anxiety a lot. Thinking i have an Std etc
Hi there. Yes sometimes the SSRIs can actually increase anxiety in the beginning. You have to go with it. It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for the medication to really kick in. When I increased my Wellbutrin, I had that jitteriness. I found ways to keep myself busy. It was summer time so I was outside chopping down bamboo. Activity helps. Are your evenings better than your mornings? Mine were.
