alcohol and anti deoressants

Is there a suggested anti depressant to use for recovering alcoholics?  Some, like "paxil", have been know to actually increase ones desire to drink according to some research.  What are the options, if any?  Alcoholics, being compulsive anyway, certainly cannot risk the potential of an anti depressant producing this type of symptom for obvious reasons.  Any known research on this subject would be most appreciated.

I know this isn't a great answer, but you really should ask a physician this question, and make sure you monitor your reaction to whatever he/she prescribes very closely!  The last thing you need is to get addicted to anti-depressants and relapse at the same time!  That's got disaster written all over it!  Go see a good doctor that you trust!
