blood pressure

i would like to know what i can do about every time i go to the doctor my blood pressure goes up as soon as they put the cuff on me. is there any thing i can do to stop this before i even get there/

You will need to find out the reason for this before You can find the solution. As it has happened in Your doctors appointment perhaps speaking and discussing this with Your doctor is the best idea.
Are You under Any particular stress when You go into The doctors?
Stress can sometimes raise blood pressure, as well as Your diet if You're eating anything in particular before going in
