does ocd go in stages like to give panic attacks at certain times?

Seems to me that my OCD goes through stages.  There are many times that my OCD doesn't bother me at all.  Then there will be times that I obsess over things for a period of weeks.  Has anyone else gone through this?

OCD is cyclical, with some people it can disappear for a period of time only to reappear as a result of a trigger, usually stress.  OCD and depression are co-morbid, that means they usually exist together, feeding off of each other.

Definitely. I have depression as well and both seem to feed in to each other (if I am really depressed, my anxiety levels will rise or if I am having really bad obsession problems, I get really depressed).

I don't know if I am alone on this, but another time I notice it exacerbates really bad is right before I get my period. It flares up pretty bad at that time.
