It's called Trichotillomania. I have had it for about 9 years. Some people only pull hair from certain parts of the body and others just pull hair no matter where it is. I pull the hair on my head. I've gone to the doctor and gotten on some meds (prozac) and the only other thing you can do it get counseling and group thereapy to retrain you brain not to do it. It sounds hard and it is but you need support from people who are like you. My husband never understood why I did and sometimes he still doesnt but he knows it not like anything else its hard to do.
