i cheated on my boyfriend last year in jan. and i've been testing since then every time i test negative. i have been worried that i might be different and that it will take me more than a year to test positive somehow? i think that everyone immune system takes differently to the hiv virus?

it's going to be 13 months since i last had unprotected sex with the guy i cheated on my boyfriend with. do you think that i could be different? do you think that my body is taking longer to develope the virus?

No I don't think so. I think even if you were or are a health nut and your immune system is a bit above average, you would still be positive around the same time as everyone else. Your hocd also seems the same as everyone else. All of us with it have irrational fears. I haven't had them in a long time thanks to therapy, but now I'm workjing on fears that are worse on me. I'm no dr so if you are this worried, speak to the dr where you were tested, they could answer your question better than I can. Maybe they could guide you in a direction to get help for your hocd.
