hiv transmission? or am I being irrational with my ocd, fears and anxiety?

I have ocd and. Extreme fear of hiv

Here is the situation I happened to scrape my hand/ fingers real bad carry get something and literally bled right away as a small chunk of my skin scraped off. It looks red and raw 3 days later still not healed. My issue is I was at the grocery store and be a use my cut was not bleeding and I got it 3 days prior I didn't think it would be an issue. Absolutely did not look like it was going to bleed. Anyway upon looking and touching stuff on the shelves perhaps the outside of my hand ( where the wound happened), was brushing lightly up against stuff. I then thought oh I better not use this hand and looked down at it and there was blood in my cut. Now because skin is missing the cut isn't that deep but there is an indent in the skin and so there was blood sitting get there. I took a napkin I had been carrying get in my hand while pushing the shopping cart and just dabbed my cut. There was definitely wet red blood. The problem is was it mine?  This cut was 3 days old wasn't bleeding when I last looked at before I went to the store so could it be that upon touching items on the store shelf I brushed up against someones wet blood that just literally hit their blood on the item and it ended up in my cut? I'm really scared and freaking out that I am now at risk for hiv. Can someone please tell me if I am at risk and need testing? If Nurse Girl is reading this can you please respond as well as I would really like to know what you think?? When anyone responds can you be specific as to why I should or should not be concerned ? Am I just experience get anxiety and this situation is irrational. Please be specific other than say seek help from a doctor...I really need to know if I have anything going to worry about. Please and thanks.

I would say no you are not at risk for HIV in this instance. Here is why... I would bet since the wound was 3 days old and on your hand fingers area it was dry. When shopping you most likely bumped it in a way you did not even notice since are hand/fingers move touch etc. alot and most times we do not notice light bumps on them. The wound beginning to heal was probably dryer than usual do to light scabbing and healing and just cracked open and began to bleed a bit. Keep it washed and clean. Leave it unwrapped so it can get air to heal faster and be careful not to bump it to much in the future.

You absolutely cannot get HIV that way.  HIV needs to be inside a host to be able to "live" and replicate and be infectious.  It absolutely cannot survive outside the body on anything whatsoever.  Not on grocery carts, not on food items, not on the bathroom stall...no where!  If it did, just think about it, we would all be infected and we are not.  That should be proof enough for you.
