obsession with bladder

I have battled ocd my whole life.I don't know life without it and I'm not taking medicine for it.A little over a week ago I tested positive for a uti,my third one in my life and now i'm worried I have interstitial cystitis which is a chronic bladder disorder with no cure,just treatment.Hearing from people who have it on the forum say it feels like the worst uti you ever had x10.Well anyway the anxiety and ocd thoughts kicked into high gear when I found out I had a uti and now I can not stop thinking about my bladder!!It is the only thing I can think of!!I don't want that disorder(who does).I just always think I have to go and I feel pressure in that area,but I don't know if my ocd and anxiety is just tricking me or if there is a problem!Is there anyone else who is obsessed with their bladder??

Get the appropriate antibiotic and stop thinking about it. It's unlikely that a person that gets bladder infections so infrequently would have a chronic condition. I'm guessing this is not your only anxiety but just the one your brain has recently grabbed onto
