There are literally hundreds of different types of antidepressant medication, in this case SSRI's, there is one out there for you, but it may take a while to find it.
Sometimes people take meds, and they don't work, so they go onto another, and keep doing this cycle until they find one. Talk to a psychiatrist about it, they'll find you another, better SSRI for your specific need, and if that one doesn't work, go back and tell them that, and they'll find you another. But remember it may take anywhere from 2 weeks, up to a month or two to find out if it's working for you. It's a long process, but worth it when you get there.
Also you can't just count on medication to get rid of bad thoughts, you should try finding a counselling psychologist, or maybe a hypnotherapist, and ask them to help you, yourself, fight the thoughts off.
Cheers,
