Asbestos Exposure, 2 years down the line.

A couple of years go at work I had to cut up a fire door from a computer room to use the material for something else. There was a sheet of what looked like white asbestos/cement material over large holes in the door. I took all precautions before removing these sheets
With approprite PPE I sprayed adhesive over the sheets to retain fibres, left a hose running over the sheets to keep them damp while removing and double-wrapped them in polythene.
In the morning the security guard pointed out that the door had blue asbestos in it. I cleaned up the area, cleaned up myself and went to A&E, where they put me on oxygen and discharged me.
My manager said afterwards that it wasn't asbestos at all, though he has a vested interest in claiming so.
He was later fired due to his 'smoke and mirrors' management style and covering up another couple of incidents.

What health monitoring should I seek down the line,  if any?
