Question

I was wondering if a HRCT alone can rule ot Silicosis.I have had x rays,hrct,ct still having pain in my right lower lung area.I have had gallblader out,TB tests how hard is silicosis to dignose.Thanks

Hello,

In general, if persons have symptoms of silicosis, they will also have positive findings on CT.

The diagnosis of silicosis is based on a history of exposure, clinical findings and radiographic findings (x-ray or CT).
