Chronic peeling,bleeding lower lip

Since around late last summer, my lower lip has had this chronic condition, it is painful, it started out and chapped, like it used to get in cold, dry weather.  It did not take long before it became quite severe, the chapping became cracking and peeling, I couldn't help but peel some of the skin off each day to relieve the condition. I've tried every over the counter product, including some very expensive dept store cosmetic solutions for very dry lips, no luck.  Currently I'm using Neosporin with a light coating of vaseline mainly at bedtime.  This condition is bad, the bleeding at times is very heavy, it will actually soak a washcloth.  I am on a few medications, including Synthroid, Topamax, Cymbalta, Lyrica, Ambien and Suboxone.  I was taking these prior to this lip condition, so I don't think I'm allergic to these medications.  I have seen two doctors about it, but not a specialist.  I'm even worried about it being cancer at this point.  Please let me know what you think, I want to get to another doctor as soon as possible, I can't take this forever.
Thanks,
Sheryl

I suggest you make an appointment with a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon or Dermatologist for prompt evaluation and possibly a biopsy for a definitive diagnosis.

There are many possible causes for your condition and a biopsy is often the simpliest way to find out and then get the proper treatment for a cure.
