Frenectomy Recovery

I just had an upper frenectomy, and as the local anesthetic is wearing off, pain is kicking in, they gave us a perscription but the nurse said we really wont need it. I have ibuprofen in me, but the pain still persists.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
The nurse didn't have the surgery... you did!!  Take the pain medication as prescribed by your doctor and call him/her if you have any questions or concerns about how you are feeling.

The procedure can be very painful in some cases.
