Sir,
There was white patch on my cheek and the centre portion of the patch was black caused due to cheek bite. My dentist susprcted the white patch as leukoplakia and extracted the last tooth of my upper left side on 26th November and advised to take antioxidants. Now the black spot is reducing very slowly but the white patch is spreading. Please advice the future course of action.

Any lesion in your mouth which persists beyond 10 days after potential sources are addressed should definitely be biopsied.  

Leukoplakia is a merely a descriptive term use for a white lesion but is not a histological diagnosis.  You should see a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon as soon as possible.

plese do go to the oral dr  the dentist  saw this and asked if i had been to dr i said no he referred me to oral surgeon please take the above dr advice  mine was in the roof of my mouth far back and i thought maybe it was sore because of salty food i went to oral surgeon he asked if i smoked i said yes he was so nice he did not tell me to quit but gave me examples of the people that had had this it was a form of cancer he said but not to get to excited he had me make an appt and then he just gave me novacaine lots of it and cut took out a large mass called it biopsy then sewed it up i was in my 60 i am now 78 and it has been in remmision i i laid down my cig the day i left his office before he did the biopsy because he said that was what caused it in mouth they could not do radiation in mouth i went to cancer doctor he said it was not in blodstream thank god i went to the doctor before it was to late this is very seriou i do hope that yuo do not have anything bad wrong        lots of luck    jo
