Experimental Putty

Ok so I'm having knee surgery early next week.  And I'm having some arthroscopic surgery and reconstructive knee surgery as well.  The doctor says he will use this putty or something like it and absorbable pins in my knee as well.  I believe some ligaments were torn and my knee cap has been dislocated as well along with a piece of bone that fell off the knee cap.  So this may seem like a stupid question but what is the success rate of this procedure.  Will there be future problems involving this past knee injury?

These are questions you should really discuss with your treating surgeon.  If he doesnt want to discuss them, ask again.  If he still is unresponsive, see another surgeon
