bone stimulator

My daughters are in competitive level gymnastics and are in the gym 5 days a week for 3 hours and a half.  They are learning high level skills are complaining of back, knee and ankle pain.  One of the coaches told me to purchase a bone stimulator to help them.  They are 15 and 12.  Do you suggest this also? Can you please give me some advice on how I can help them besides just icing.  Thank you.

That is terrible advice.  At their age, five days a week in the gym for over three hours at a time may be too much.  They are in serious danger of developing overuse injuries to both the soft tissues and the growth plates of their bones.  The fact theat they they are complaining of pain in so many area should be a red flag!  I suggest evaluation by an orthopedist. to rule out any injuries before they become more serious
