Pain Almost One Year After Knee Replacement

I had a TKR last August.   For the first 7 months after surgery, part of the knee was number (surgeon told me this was normal).  Now the numbness is beginning to wear off and I feel pain.  Sometimes the knee hurts as much as before the surgery and I still can't put all my weight on that leg.  I am unable to go up and down stairs one foot at a time.  How long will this pain normall last.  I'm not scheduled to see the surgeon again till December.

Sudden onset of increased pain is a red flag. Call your surgeon and move up your appointment.
