TFCC tear in wrist due to snowboarding, how do i treat?

I'm not a doctor, but I'm almost positive that I have a tear in the TFCC (Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex) in my left wrist due to falling on it while snowboarding.  I obtained some information here (http://www.mikereinold.com/2009/02/complications-following-distal-radius.html) which lead me to this conclusion.

This is preventing me from swinging a golf club, and causes some pain/clicking/grinding in the daily use of my wrist.

How should I go about treating it?

You can immobilize your wrist full time  in a **** up splint for approx. 2 weeks an take an over the counter antiinflammatory.  If the pain persists, then see an orthopedic hand specialist who can examine, you take xrays, and order an MRI or arthrogram if necessary.
