another compressed nerve!!!

I had surgery a little over a year ago for a right ulnar nerve transposition and decompression. Since then the pain has continued and has spread  up to my neck. I had an emg and it showed a nerve  compression in my neck now which was not there a year ago. Can the compression in my neck be from favoring my arm ? please help...

Sounds like these are two unrelated problems.  However, I have several questions. Was there an EMG done before the elbow surgery.  Was there any recovery after the elbow surgery?  Are your symptoms different now from before surgery, from 6 months ago?

I had an EMG before the elbow surgery. My surgery was Jan.29 2008, I do not believe I am completely healed. I still have swelling at the elbow and a little into the forearm. It is still weak and it gets tired really fast. Some of the symptoms from before the surgery have eased up but they still happen. If anything i feel like i have new syptoms after the surgery. I should also tell you that this is my dominent arm. I just don't know what to do it always hurts...
