MY DAUGHTER HAS HAD A LUMP ON HER SHIN FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR. AND IT COMES AND GOES ONLY BOTHERS HER WHEN SHE IS ACTIVE. SHE HAD A XRAY THE OTHER DAY AND A MRI TODAY THEY FEEL IT COULD BE SOME KIND OF TUMOR THEY ARE NOT SURE THO SHE IS GOIN TO BOSTON NEXT WEEK . AND THEY FEEL IT MIGHT HAVE TO COME OUT , OMG WHAT COULD IT BE SHE IS A VERY HEALTHLY GIRL NO MEDICAL PROBLEMS. MY HEAD IS SPINNING, PLEASE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR RESEARCH,

Hi, Did you find out anything?  I have the same problem and have had it since I was 14 - I am now 34...  My parents took me to a variety of doctors and specialists but no one could tell us anything.  The lump comes up after mild exercise normal walking and is extreemly painful - almost dibilitating at times.  Any answers you may have received from your daughters visit to the doctors would be appreciated.
