what kind of surgeon operates a restricted ulna nerve?

Hi,
I ask this question because it is planned that I will have this op on both arms this year, I have a neurosurgeon that has offered to do this for me he has already operated my cervical spine with an implant.

Although the surgery does involve a nerve, it is unusual for a neurosurgeon to perform this operation.  However, your surgeon may have a special area of interest or experience in this area.  It would not hurt to ask him, he should not be offended.
Usually, this operation is done by an orthopedist.  Although special expertise is not required, and many general orthopedists perform this procedure, either an elbow or hand specialist probably does more.
