9 year daughter with Spondylothesis

9 year daughter with Spondylothesis

I have a 9 year old daughter that was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago with Pars Defect of the L5 and Spondylosis. I took her to a sports orthpedic specialist and he recommended follow up in 6 months. Her next appointment she not has Spondylothesis grade 1/2 (5%) and stated no need to limit her activity or change anything that we are doing. Went back in March 2011 and took more Xrays and she now has ben up graded to grade 3 at 30% or more slippage. At this time I asked if I need to limit her cheerleading, dance, or tumbling, I was told no. He has recommended us to a Pediatric Ortho specialist at OU Childrens Hospital.  My question is with an increase of 30% in 6 months should I be limiteding her activities or change something that we are doing/not doing?  How is this going to affect her future? Will she always be in pain/discomfort? What are the right questions to ask when i go to this specialist next week?
thansk for the help in advance.
