Ankle Problems

by Betts57, Aug 25, 2009 12:08PM
I've had a sore swollen ankle for awhile now.  My doc diagnosed me w/plantar fasciitis and thinks I have chipped ankle bone on the inside of my ankle.  I swim, wear orthosis, and will begin PT soon to work w/healing the plantar fasciitis.  However, what could I expect w/a chipped bone?

To: Betts57,
Hello,
For a chipped bone we would advice you rest to the ankle so before starting therapy for plantar fasciitis go for a proper diagnosis. It depends on the location and how it will effect by your movement.
If required go for a latest X-ray and MRI.
Take care!
