Ankle Sprain

My Daughter has a sprain ankle, her ankle and foot are extremely cold even to touch. Is this normal?

Hello!

Normally if she has an acute inflammation then she will have pain, tenderness, swelling and warmness due to the injury.

I would suggest you to apply ice packs and ask her to rest for couple of days and watch for any numbness and color change.

If the symptoms continue then she will need an X-ray and consultation near an orthopedician.
