Any Suggestions

Hello I am new here.  I have been haveing neck stiffness and a headache going on 2 weeks now ...ugh...my hands are shaky and i sleep all the time.  Had an MRI done I have minimal desiccation and narrowing between my C5-6 and a tin syrinx between my T1-2 the syrinx measures .2 cm in length.  I saw a NeuroSergon and he totaly blew my off and said that it is a migrain that i am having and to go and see a Neurologist...ugh....Should i let this go, my gut says no but others are saying yes???  Any suggestions

There is no way you can ignore the disc problem, even if it is minimal at present. It can grow to be a menace. The syrinx may not be of much significance. It may be there since birth. But I would suggest you should get a good neurological examination first. by a neurologist.

The neck stiffness and headaches are related. Neck stiffness leads to headache quite often. Your aim should be to find out if the neck stiffness if due to the cervical disc problem. If it is, you will have to take corrective steps soon. Please consult a Neurologist.
