Does anyone know when the artificial disc for C-Spine is coming out in the States?
If so, where and when?

ProDisc disc replacement for the cervical spine is available in the United States.  Because it is new here, the problem is finding the MD that has been trained in the surgical procedure.  Check with the web site for surgeon suggestions

I just had the cervical Pro-Disc for C-4, C-5 on Feb 11th @ Good Sam hospital in Puyallup, WA.  My Doctor was Shonnard from Rainier Orthopedics.

Our first insurance company denied it (BC/BS), but our second one (Aetna) approved it.
