Both knees

Anyone ever have both knees replaced at the same time? Need to do in November...seeking advice and support.
What should I do to prepare? Scared. Please share your journey with me, so I know what to expect. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your response. Xrays were done last week to determine course of action. Surgeon is well known in the Orthopedic Community, Dr. William Bryan. His suggestions were the same, which is comforting. I will be working on myself to prepare for this surgery. Thank you for your support.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

The first thing you should do is get a present day X-ray scans of your knees and confirm progressive osteoarthritis  and ligament damage in both legs.

Talk with an expert orthopedician who is involved for more than 10 years in knee replacement surgeries.

There is no reason to fear and get ready for intense physiotherapy. Start having proper diet and take the help of a counselor and build enough courage to take it forward.

The more you participate pro actively during the initial 3 months post surgery the higher will be your success rate.

Maintain complete hygiene and best of luck!

Take care!
