Bottom of my foot is numb after total knee replacement, toes hurt sometimes

Numb bottom of my foot, total left knee replacement 12 - 7 -15 , the surgeon said it will go away, it has been 4 months. I really don't think my doctor is being honest. It started right after surgery. He said it is coming from my Spinal Stenosis.Help where do I turn?
