When I was a kid I remember wearing orthopedic shoes for a period because my parents were told that I might develop this problem in the future. Well in my teenage years I started wearing skate shoes and barely ever tied my shoelaces, so this effectively erased any progress I had made and most likely accelerated the problem.
I am in my 20s now and even though I notice a lot of guys my age with crooked legs, I want to try to fix it somehow. I am not worried about the appearance so much, but it feels strange when I am walking and especially when I am running. Very often I will try to compensate for the problem by putting the weight of my stride on the outside of my foot, although I am not sure if this helps or just makes it worse.
Surgery is not really an option for the moment, but I am open to any advice about products or exercises that could help alleviate this issue.
Thanks in advance.
