Good to hear that.

Get ready for Physiotherapy once you are through with healing and your primary surgeon gives you a green signal.

Take enough rest and follow all instructions to gain complete strength.
The pain will decrease over a period of time and physiotherapy will help you in future.

Take care!

Dear walkingtall,

At your age you will heal perfectly. Take rest and eat balanced diet with enough protein and calcium.

You can take a repeat X-ray after 6 weeks and consult your surgeon. The surgical pain will subside in 4 weeks time, remember you had major surgery and also foreign body put into your bone. You can eat some intermittent pain killers.

Take care!
