Broken clavicle(3 peices)- surgery or not

I fractured my clavicle into 3 peices the day after Christmas, went to the doctor and he put me in a figure 8 brace. I went back today for my follow up and after viewing the xray it has not moved one bit, and i do realize its only been a little under two weeks. In the beginning he pushed more for surgery but left it up to me, his other doctors in the office said i could go either way. Well the bumps getting pretty big with alot of bruising, so im starting to consider a plate but wanted some opinions. I am attatching a photo and any comments would be appreciated. I am a 21 year old male.

So what did you decide to do? Surgery, I hope! That x-ray looks awful!  Hope things are going well for you!
