Bruised rib

Bruised rib

I have a bruised rib after a fight 4 days ago. The first 2 days it hurt a lot. Now the pain is only slight. Can I start exercising/lifting weights as soon as the pain goes away? Or do I have to still wait a few more days?

Hello!

I would suggest you to give rest from exercising for a complete week.

If your pain subsides completely then you can start exercising. If you are comfortable then progressively start lifting weights.

If there is any discomfort then go for some scans and follow up with an orthopedician.
