Can my ribs be broken for nearly 8 years and I not know it?

I have severe abdominal pain in the upper left quadrant of my abdomen directly under my left breast. I have had this pain periodically for nearly 8 years, and it started immediately following a lower back surgery. I really wonder if after I was under anesthesia maybe when they transferred me from my back on the gurney to the operating table on my stomach they may have broken some ribs? Is that possible? Over the last 6 months or so it has gotten worse. Often times I get a severe stabbing pain when I cough or twist, etc. I cannot wear underwire bras due to the sensitivity it creates. My skin is really sensitive to the touch over the area of pain. I have had a CT Scan, an Ultra Sound, and Blood Tests, all with no findings. I just had an X-Ray done yesterday and I am waiting for the results. PLEASE, someone PLEASE help me. I am MISERABLE. I am in so much pain that it puts me to tears sometimes because it won't go away. I have a very hard time sitting upright for long periods of time, but when I'm standing, it doesn't seem to be as bad. Muscle pain and referred pain from my back have been completely ruled out by my doctors. I am tired of feeling like I'm crazy because they can't find anything. ANYTHING would be so helpful. I feel so lost.
