Car wrecks about a month ago!

I was in two car wrecks back to back about a month ago. The first wreck I barely got hit from behind. Not many problems from the first wreck. Then the 2nd I was with a friend an she hit a dodge truck at full force. Very lucky. I have been seeing a Chiropractor due to my back injuries. My right shoulder just directly underneath it is still giving me a fit from the wreck. My Chiropractor told me that there was a popped rib there today. Well he popped it. An now It's like this pain keeps coming back. Is there anything I can do? I am starting to feel that the Chiropractor is not doing much help for me anymore. I just seem to hurt more an more everytime I go.

Hi missbritt08, how are you? Has the chiropractor got the x- ray of chest and shoulder to rule out bony involvement? Do you have a breathing problem or feel your shoulder motion is restricted? Chiro treatment is more focused on spine level injuries and adjustments, so I feel it is better for you to consult a orthopedic doctor and get examined. Try to give as much rest as possible and not to strain too much. OTC pain medications and local pain gel may be of some relief along with hot fomentation. Do share your thoughts. Take care.
