Carpal tunnel in both wrists???

by LexiFaye, May 29, 2009 09:12PM
Lately I have been having a considerable amount of pain in both wrists. I wake up constantly with numbness and tingling. I can't pick things up without pain, and it hurts to grip, including holding a pen.

The pain in my wrists have gotten increasingly worse. It has been going on for a couple months, but has gotten worse.

I can't go to the doctor currently because of a stupid pre-exsisting condition clause on my insurance. I plan on going however.

Is it really possible to have carpal tunnel in both wrist at the same time? I know the exercises to do to help prevent carpal tunnel, but I've tried to do them and it hurts a ton. Is there anything I can do until I can get into the see the doctor?

I'm no expert but 2 months seems like a very short time for carpal tunnel syndrom (syndrome) to advance that far after you first notice it. Was there some major change before the pain started?

You can definatly get it in both wrists at the same time, especialy if an activity causing it requires both hands.
