Clavicular pain of >6 months

I have strange symptos: Headaches at night that feel more like heat and responde great to ice,mid-clavicular pain that is moving more towards the AC joint on my nondominant hand and hair loss. I do have thyroid nodules and the first biopsy >year ago was negative.  I do have pressure on the same side of the neck but no enlarged lymph nodes. Did anyone heard of anything like this. Do an Xray or MRI of the clavicle be the best choice. I did have radiation of my neck area as a child for a benign hemangioma. I just want to know if any of the symptoms coincide together in one diagonsis. Thank you!

Hair loss can be due to thyroid disease. Low thyroid hormone levels can be associated with chronic headaches. Neck radiation as a child does put you at a significantly higher risk for thyroid malignancies compared to the general population. Having your TSH level checked will tell you if your thyroid hormone level is abnormal. A thyroid ultrasound is also recommended and I see you have had that done already. If your symptoms are relatively new, you might consider another neck ultrasound.

Your headaches may be stress related / tension headaches (or some other benign cause).

The AC join pain may possibly be related to use, ie, wear and tear. An xray would show if there is any AC joint seperation, bone resportion or degerative change / arthritis.

Bottom line: Its difficult to come up with a one-fits-all diagnosis. However, I would recommend a TSH test and a thyroid ultrasound to rule out a thyroid nodule or malignancy. Also consider a PTH (parathyroid hormone test). A parathyroid adenoma can cause AC joint resorption and headaches.
