Dandruff?

No matter what i do, for the past 9 years i have had what i thought was severe dandruff. however, i have tried every single anti-dandruff solution they sell and most just make my head more itchy. its weird cuz my scalp comes off in larger chunks than i thought dandruff was. it is also slightly yellower.  it is constant, i never have a break from it. its super embarassing too, because i cannot resist to itch it and once i start to scratch i can't stop for like 2 or 3 minutes. i thought it was dandruff at first, but now i don't think so. what do you think it is?

You could try using products with ZPTO or ketoconazole and try reposting this query in the dermatology community or consulting a dermatologist.
