Hi, I am having surgery tomorrow on my left wristWrist pain for deQuervain's. I have a 1 1/2 year old, I'm a single mom. I have lots of help available to me, but I'm just curious to how long until I might be able to do some normalNormal saline flush things? Any suggestions on what to expect, things to have on handHand or foot spasms Hand tremor, etc?
4-6 weeks after surgery you can start doing light normalNormal saline flush activities 8 weeks start strengthing 10-12 weeks normalNormal saline flush activities or at least that is how my hand surgeons I have worked for do it. some may do the process faster. with this surgery donot expect to be pain free it can be but most I have seen it just makes you have a decrease in pain to a tolerable level. hope it goes good for you
