Delayed wrist damage after elbow fracture

Hi, just over three weeks ago I broke my elbow from a fall on my outstretched hand, the doctor said it was a hairline fracture of the radial head. I did not receive a cast and was told to stop wearing the sling as soon as possible. The elbow is healing well, but about two weeks later I started feeling pain in my wrist. The pain is where the radius meets the wrist and is felt with certain movements, not constantly.
Is this something I should be worried about?
I have a follow up with the doctor in a week but want to know if I should do something about it sooner.

Hello!

Take NSAIDs and rest for couple of days and if the pain continues then go to your doctor.

I would suggest you to go for present day scans and limit your movements till properly diagnosed. (In 4 weeks any bone fracture should heal but by 3 months it will be clearer on X-rays)

Follow up with an orthopedician.

Hi Balzac, i've had multiple wrist surgeries and know the area your having pain.  if it makes if feel any better buy a wrist splint like the ones used in bowling, i say that because thats what the doctor gave me.  Research a good orthopedic hand doctor. don't just accept the doctor your going to, he'll have xrays and an MRI taken the give you the results.  take his results and go for a second opinion if the doctor was talking surgery.  i would recommend only a hand doctor do hand surgery.  good luck  Phill

I have just come back from visiting the minor injury department at our local hospital
I have had a painful right elbow for a couple of weeks following a knock to it over the weekend it became very tender and painkillers or bufen was not helping
The Dr said the x-ray showed a hairline fracture and inflammation the only thing was for me not to lift any thing

Should it be strapped or supported for a while
