About 3 years ago, I injured my shoulder, I seen an Orthopedic surgeon yesterday and she stated that she felt that I had a tear in my deltoid muscle. I have spent the quite a bit of time since researching it. It seems to be a rare problem to tear "Just your deltoid". She didn't give a great outcome for the surgery except for relief from pain. Does anyone know if this surgery is going to be worth the risk, of scare tissue, lack of success, etc. I felt she was ambivalent and wanted me to decide within 30 seconds whether I wanted the surgery or not, so I said yes, but know if I made the right choice.
