Diffuse disc buldge at L4/L5 level with mild thecal sac indentation

I'm barely 26 this year and recently experienced lower back pain with radiating soreness on my left hip all the way down to my left knee cap and lower leg.  My MRI results show a "Diffuse disc bulge at the L4/L5 level with mild thecal sac indentation.  There is no exit foraminal narrowing noted."  This MRI was done before my cough set in, which worsened my condition to more radiating soreness on the same areas depicted above, to the extent I can't sleep at night.  I can only walk for at most half an hour and need to sit down for a rest.

I would like to ask if my condition for my age is serious, and would there be any negative side effects in future?  Will I be prone to more back injuries, or paralysis?

Also, what are the chances of a full recovery, and remedial treatment for my back?

Anyone has got similar cases like mine and would like to share how you treated and how you have recovered so far?

Thanks!
