I broke my wristWrist pain about 6 weeks ago and I have had my cast off for almost two weeks. My doc said to wait 4 weeks after I got my cast off before I start playing golf again. However, I have started to play a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys again just swinging softly. A few days ago I tried out some normalNormal saline flush swings and my wristWrist pain felt fine with no real pain and my wristWrist pain feels about how it used too. If I start to play fully again before the 4 weeks am I really risking hurting my wristWrist pain again? I did not break it golfing.
I am not a doctor but I would really wait if I were you. Doctors give us restrictions for a reason. Wouldn't you hate it if you had to miss golf for an addional 6 weeks just because you didn't listen to him? So what you have two more weeks? I'd wait
Take care
It takes 4 weeks for any fracture to completely heal. A fracture heals by a callous formation. Once it has healed a further 4 weeks would be necessary to completely gain strength.
It is good to know that you do not have any pain, continue your daily normal chores and routines and I would suggest you to restrict any form of sport till the period as the orthopedician suggested.
