Does this make sense

Hi, I was rear ended in a car accident last May and suffered a fracture to my thoracic spine T-6 I did not feel pain though for six days later.  To make a long story short.  Is it possible to have a mild compression fracture that causes severe pain and most importantly started six days later?  I was diagnosed as having Osteopenia after x-rays

Hello!

Osteopenia is a mild thinning of the bone mass, but not as severe as osteoporosis.

With mild fractures and with proper alignment it is difficult to diagnose. Only with continued pain you diagnose these conditions.

If you are suffering from conditions like osteopenia previously then this is a possibility.

Take care!
