Elbow Issues

Last year during baseball I suffered an injury while pitching which kept me out for the rest of the season. I went to physical therapy and rested just like the doctor told me. I also had an MRI and X-rays which both showed nothing unusual so i figured with rest and time my elbow would heal. This January I started practicing again to get ready for the season and i began to feel the same pain in my elbow. I got a second opinion and he told me the same thing. I'm going back to physical therapy but I'm scared this injury is going to cost me another season and I have no clue what to do. Can anyone give me some information or has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi,
How are you? The common base ball injuries are due to pressure on the upper part of the body while throwing. The two common injuries are elbow joint inflammation and shoulder pull. If the inflammation is mild, it cannot be diagnosed with the usual methods.

Preventing these injuries is the key for treatment which can be done by warm-up before a game, plus five minutes of stretches, to keep muscles and joints limber, supple, and resilient. Flexibility should be maintained.
Best.
