FAI Surgery

Hi all, I am 17 days post scope surgery for femroacetabular impingement.  I had surgery for cam and pincer, bone removed and part of my labrum was calcified and removed.

I am feeling okay, but would appreciate some advice or information on what to expect through recovery.

My doctor warned me that the recovery is long and painful.  I have read there are lots of ups and downs for months.  I am on crutches for 4-6 weeks and maybe longer, because i read pain will come back as i start to walk on it and during pt.

I have cramping, shooting pains, spasams, pressure, burning pain, sensativity to touch...I think all are norml, but would love feedback.

Thanks.
