Facial bones joints lossen

i started weight training in gym 1 year back. I used to lift very heavy weights because of this my cheek and jaw bones have expanded . Now i have stopped lifting weights.

I can hear bone cracking noise from cheek and jaw bones during facial movements. And now if i lift weights or do exercise, my cheek and jaw bones again further expands in 1 day and after 1 week gets back to normal position.

Seems like some cheek and jaw bones joints have loosen up which gets expands when some force is applied(on lift weights)

Please let me know what is the problem, its very depressing for me.

Thanks

Hello!

I do not think that your facial bones are expanding or getting loose and for proper diagnosis get an X-ray done to rule out any bony deformities. Get yourself examined by an orthopedician.

Rule out sinusitis or infection of the bone spaces in your face. Your facial muscles may get inflamed with grimacing and force applied due to heavy weights.

Take care!
