Finger fracture index -smoking

Hello,

I had fracture in my index finger and had "k wires" treatment. It has been 41 days since the operation. I ma smoker and was smoking for almost 35 days in this period unaware of the effects of smoking in bone healing. Now that I came to know abt this, I am very much worried of how long it would take further for me to heal. I also found tht the healing of a fractured finger takes 6 weeks in general. CN you let me know of hw long will it take fr the bone to heal completely. I understand that t differs from person to person. Still wanted to know on how long will it take my bone to heal after this as I hav quitted the smoking after 40 days from the accideny.

It would be really great if you can advice me on this. I have now stopped smoking entirely.
