The symptoms are sure due to nerve involvement.
I would suggest you to go for a blood sugar estimation to rule our diabetes and also measure your blood pressure and blood hemoglobin.
Wear proper footwear; maintain proper body weight and I would suggest you to do regular exercises.
Exercise at your ankle joint: Dorsiflexion and Plantar flexion: push your ankle down and up keeping your leg straight and repeat this to decrease the pain and symptoms. Also do sidewise movements at the ankle joint. Perform these exercises for couple of days.
If the symptoms persist I would suggest you to take a neurology consultation for nerve related problems.
