Fractured radial head

I suffered a dislocated elbow and fractured radial head 6 weeks ago.

I wore a cast for 3 weeks, and have been having daily physio sessions for the past 4 weeks. My progress is extremely limited and my ROM is restricted to 40 degress extension, and 100 degrees flexion. For the last two days I've had numbness in my 4th and 5th fingers and on that side of my hand in general. I'm told the numbness is probably due to an irritated ulnar nerve.

Disappointed at my recovery I decided to see another doctor yesterday. He took some x-rays of my elbow, and has informed me I have a deformed radial head because the surgeon failed to remove all the bone fragments caused by the original fracture. As a result he thinks it's unlikely I'll ever get anywhere near to a normal range of motion. When asked if it would still be possible to excise the bone fragments he replied it's too late!

I'm a father of a 18-month old son, and not being able to pick him up is heartbreaking. I'm desperate to get my arm back in working order, so I'm trying to find out what my options are. However, I'm based in Thailand, and I'm having severe difficulties communicating with local doctors. I would be v.v. grateful if someone could offer any advice or suggestions.
