Hamstring tendon injury??

I had medial meniscus repair 4 years ago. Since the surgery I have intermittent pain behind my knee. I believe it is the hamstring tendon. The pain is intense after kneeling or squatting. It goes away fairly quickly. What is the best treatment?

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms and without a diagnosis at hand it would be difficult o suggest a management plan. Possible causes of your symptoms include inflammations, bursitis, tendonitis, neuro-muscular causes, growths/ masses etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by your treating orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
